HR2eazy-Creating Memories Strengthening Teams
At HR2eazy, we believe that a strong team is not only about working together but also about bonding, creating memories, and having fun. That's why we decided to celebrate our New Year together by hosting a small event and having a casual gathering ('makan-makan' in Malay).
One of the highlights of the event was our mystery gift exchange session that we called “Who’s your Mak Cik Kiah?” – a spin-off of the Secret Santa game traditionally played during the Christmas seaons. Each team member brought a wrapped gift, and there was palpable anticipation as we exchanged presents. Before the event started, we invited our parent company’s Managing Director, Mr Ratnaganesh, to share a few words to boost the employees, and share a brief history of “Mak Cik Kiah”.

Before everyone received their gifts and guessed who gave them, we continued our event with games and activities.
Bonding Through Games:
Nothing brings people together like friendly competition, and our company event was filled with two games and activities designed to foster teamwork and camaraderie.
The first game we played was riddles, known as 'Teka-Teki' in Malaysia. This game taught us to enjoy life and think creatively because most of the answers were just for fun. Afterward, we continued with a treasure hunt. This game was enjoyable because everyone was running around to find the items, demonstrating how each team worked together to win.
From riddles to treasure hunts, we worked together, laughed together, and poked fun at each other along the way.
Afterward, we continued with the Gift Exchange, the main activity of the event. Everyone seemed excited and couldn't wait to receive their presents.
Shared Meals and Stories:
No celebration is complete without delicious food, and our early-year event was no exception. We were served Nasi Kandar, Sago Gula Melaka, Tauhu Kari, Ayam Goreng Berempah, and Ayam Masak Kicap. Let me tell you, this is the best Nasi Kandar in town! We all enjoyed the meal and shared stories, cherishing the moment.
As we wrapped up the day, it was clear that our early-year celebration had achieved its goal of creating lasting memories and strengthening our team. We walked away with a renewed sense of camaraderie, a deeper appreciation for each other, and a reminder of the importance of coming together as a team, both inside and outside of the workplace.
Our company's early-year celebration was truly an amazing event, especially the food part! From the laughter and fun to the meaningful connections forged, it was a day filled with joy, friendship, and team spirit. As we look ahead to the rest of the year, we carry with us the memories of this special day and the knowledge that together, there's nothing we can't achieve.
